Charlie Duchek is the Chief Pilot for Midwest Helicopter. He is a CFI and CFII in both airplanes and helicopters. Charlie has logged over 6000 hours total flight time of which over 5100 is in helicopters and 900 in airplanes. He has over 4000 hours as a flight instructor. Charlie instructs in the Robinson R-22 and R-44, and Schweizer helicopters; he also has 300 hours in the venerable Bell 47 as well as time in the Bell 206 JetRanger and Bell 407. Charlie holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management. His Ratings Include:

Dan Neunuebel is also a very experienced helicopter instructor with Midwest. Dan has over 6000 hours of flight time, most of it as an instructor in the Robinson R-22 and R-44 helicopter. He also has experience in the Enstrom helicopter and over 900 hours in Bell 206 JetRangers. Like Charlie Duchek, Dan has trained pilots for their Private, Commercial, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) ratings.

Tom McNamara is an intern at Midwest with 600 hours of flight experience. Tom has 400 hours in helicopters and 200 in airplanes. Tom has his Commercial helicopter rating and is finishing up his Flight Instructor (CFI) rating in the helicopter. Tom helps with administrative functions at Midwest, schedules flights, and assists with aircraft maintenance. Tom flies and helps out part-time as needed at Midwest. His ratings include:
- Private Pilot: Single-Engine Land Airplane
- Commercial Pilot: Rotorcraft Helicopter

Mike Sequeira is also a very experienced helicopter pilot with Midwest. Mike has 1300 hours of helicopter time, most of it in the Robinson R-22 and R-44 helicopters. Mike recently obtained his own personal Hughes 269 helicopter, which he flew SOLO back to St. Louis from Oregon. Mike is a factory-trained R-22 and R-44 helicopter mechanic. Mike is now flying a Bell 206L full-time for a local EMS hospital operator. Mike flies and helps out part-time with helicopter maintenance as needed at Midwest. His ratings include:
- Commercial Pilot: Rotorcraft-Helicopter
- Flight Instructor: Rotorcraft-Helicopter
- Instrument Helicopter.
- Aircraft Mechanic: Airframe & Powerplant (A&P)

Peanut is Midwest's official "Airport Dog."
Peanut's job is to guard the "Welcome" mat by the front door to the flight training center, to guarantee it is not stolen, and to greet customers as they enter. Peanut's training includes:
- Advanced Runway Incursions
- Hovering Near Food
- Being Overly Friendly & Begging for Treats
